High-quality Early Childhood Development (ECD) is the most valuable investment that humanity can make in its own future right now.
Through our Community Rooted Education (CoRE) program, teacher training at the world-leading Indaba Institute is reimagining Early Childhood Development (ECD) in South Africa. Our program empowers and equips the region’s lowest-income women to become leading role models in their communities. The positive impact of our rigorously trained ECD teachers is already evident in communities plagued by violence and poverty.
While we actively expand our initiatives through our innovative Social Investment Seal (SIS), which provides partners in the Wine Industry with a turnkey ECD investment solution, our vision includes the establishment of the world’s first University of the Child (UoTC) in the future. Both the SIS and the UoTC operate under the umbrella of CoRE, aiming for individual transformation, fundamental social change and cohesion, and vital economic upliftment in their respective regions.
To verify our impact, we’re forming coalitions with leading research organizations to scale our initiatives, share our learnings, and stimulate further investment into Early Childhood Education.
Investing in Early Childhood Development with CoRE means building more equitable, non-racial, future-ready, and economically sustainable communities.
